The Fresh Market

This store is considered an "Upscale grocery store chain"...(it says on their website),and yes... partially it is truth. It has a good variety of produces, some items are available just at this store, and cannot be find anywhere else. It has a good music... everything is really fresh (and so on). But...everything what has to do to customers service, it is really bad. Yes, a lot of employees are nice and friendly (probably because that is who they are, and not because it is part of companies standards), but, it is clear for me that management does not teach the stuff. I can't understand why is it the issue at "upscale grocery store" to make a package of sliced ham specifically for you. I asked one day to cut it for me, and guy asked:"why can you not just take that one what I already cut one hour ago?" Another issue...if you buying a big package of water, nobody (even if your cashier is guy 20-25 years old) really want to help you to put it on your cart for you. Oddly enough, at Trader joe's (what is not considered an upscale store) all employees do it without asking. I don't want to blame the guy who served me at check out today. I understand if that your first job (or something like that)l, and management does not give you any instructions of what you should do, you can feel confused

I usually try to shop at Whole Foods but thought this might be a good alternative since Whole Foods can be a very chaotic and stressful shopping experience. Yes - this place is awesome! It’s basically Whole Foods with way fewer people and more speciality items. The experience in here is beyond pleasant - it’s luxurious. Seriously. Who knew walking around a grocery store could be… fun?! They have a ton of prepared foods too, which I appreciate. Give it a try, you won’t regret it!

This place is AMAZING! It's like Whole Foods without the insane crowds and a nice selection of specialty gourmet foodstuff that I used to have to pay an arm and a leg to get them shipped to me! I could barely contain my excitement and actually told the friendly cashier that I'd camp out there if I could! 🤦🏻‍♀️ As unglamorous as it sounds, grocery shopping is one of my favorite hobbies!

TERRIBLE PLACE!!! I come in here a lot and I notice a manger screaming at a kid and apparently that happens everyday with that manger. I spoke to a cashier about what was going on because it was obnoxiously loud and disturbing. I was told that the manger “REMON” always dose it and not to worry. Please don’t let this happen again what I saw and heard was wrong.

Fantastic little grocery store right across the Vienna Giant shopping center. A wide selection of rare finds and gourmet foods. Service is usually good but generally understaffed compared to bigger grocery stores in the area. Prices can be expensive but many of the interesting and artisan products are well worth the price. Highly recommend for an occasional shopping splurge
